How Do Rentals Work?
Rentals are handled by our sales staff at the front counter in our store. Most rentals are available at daily or weekly rates. All rental fees and deposits must be paid in full at pickup.
A minimum 1-day charge applies to all rentals. For rentals charged at a daily rate, there is no charge for the Return Date as long as the equipment is returned by 4:00 PM.
Renters must be at least 18 years of age, agree to our Rental Policies and Terms, and sign the rental form agreeing to all fees and accepting full responsibility for the equipment.

How Do I Make A Reservation?
You can reserve equipment in advance for free. Contact us — 808-591-0999 or admin@easymusiccenter.com — and be ready to provide your:
- Full name (must match ID and credit card at pickup)
- Valid phone number
- Type of rental (instrument or equipment)
- Rental pickup and return dates
Reservations are first-come, first-served. Walk-in rentals and same-day reservations are subject to an additional booking fee.
What Do I Need To Bring?
- Your valid government-issued photo ID with signature (state ID, driver’s license, or passport).
- Copies or images are not accepted.
- Military IDs are not accepted.
- Your signed, unexpired Visa or Mastercard credit card for fee and deposit payments.
- Copies or images are not accepted.
- Debit cards, prepaid cards, and numberless cards (like Apple Card) are not accepted.
Pickup and Return
All rentals must be picked up and returned in person at Easy Music Center by the Renter listed on the reservation. Please allow for at least 20 minutes at pickup and return to complete all necessary rental paperwork, inspections, and assessments.
- Pickup and Return Hours: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Rentals will be inspected and evaluated upon return for condition and completeness. Any damage, loss, or missing components will be assessed by management, and related charges may be applied. All assessments are final and determined at the sole discretion of Easy Music Center and are final and non-negotiable. Additional fees assessed will be charged to the Renter's deposit or credit card on file. Charges will not exceed the Total Equipment Value listed on the signed rental form.
Late Return Fees: Rentals returned after 4:00 PM on the Return Date will incur an additional fee at the daily rate for that day and each additional day late.

Can I rent without a reservation?
Yes, if the item is available. Please note: same-day rentals or reservations include an additional charge.
Can I pick up my rental early, or the day before?
No — early pickup is not available. If you need to pick up a rental before our regular pickup/return hours, we recommend adjusting your reservation to begin a day earlier.
How is my rental rate calculated?
All rentals have a 1-day minimum charge. If you're renting at a daily rate, there is no charge for the Return Day as long as the equipment is returned by 4:00 PM.
Examples:
– Pickup Thursday / Return same-day by 4:00 PM = 1-day charge
– Pickup Thursday / Return Friday by 4:00 PM = 1-day charge
– Pickup Thursday / Return Saturday by 4:00 PM = 2-day charge
– Pickup Thursday / Return the following Thursday by 4:00 PM = 1-week charge
– Pickup Thursday / Return the following Friday by 4:00 PM = 1-week + 1-day charge
Can I extend my rental if I need a few more days?
Yes — you can extend your rental, provided the equipment has not been reserved for another customer. You’ll need to return to the store before your original Return Date to complete new paperwork and pay for the additional days.
Please note: extensions will not be processed remotely. If you are unable to return to the store to complete the required steps, we will not extend your rental or update your Return Date.
Is there a discount or refund if I return the rental early or the same day?
No — rental fees are based on the selected rate at pickup (daily, weekend, etc.) and the Return Date. Early returns do not reduce the cost.
I no longer need the rental. Is there a cancellation fee?
There is no cancellation fee for reservations. Before you cancel, keep in mind that same-day rentals or reservations include an additional charge.
Once the rental has been picked up and payment has been made, rentals cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.
Why don’t you accept military IDs?
Copying military IDs is restricted by federal law. We accept state IDs, driver’s licenses, and passports.
What if I only have a debit, prepaid, or numberless card?
We do not accept debit, prepaid, or numberless cards for the required rental deposit. A signed Visa or Mastercard credit card is required.
My debit card can be processed as a credit card. Can I use that?
No — we do not accept debit cards for rentals, even if they can be run as credit. A signed Visa or Mastercard credit card is required.
Can I use a friend’s or family member’s card?
No — the ID, credit card, and signature must all belong to the same person — the Renter. Third-party cards are not accepted.
Can I pay for the rental fee with a different card or with cash?
No — all fees must be paid by the same card used to make the deposit.
Can I add extra items to my rental?
No — we do not allow changes or additions. All rentals must be selected from our current listings.
How do I use the equipment/instrument?
Some listings include basic how-to videos. However, rentals do not include training or full operating instructions. If you are unsure how to properly operate the equipment or instruments, we recommend renting from or consulting another provider.
Something is missing from my rental. What do I do?
Contact us as soon as possible. Please note: Renters are responsible for confirming all items are present and in working order at pickup.
Can someone else return the equipment for me?
No — the original Renter must be present when returning the equipment.
When do I get my deposit back?
Deposits are refunded to the original card — minus any fees or charges assessed during the return process — following the timely and satisfactory return of all equipment. Refunds typically take 3 to 6 business days to appear on a credit card account.
