TOSLINK (Optical Audio)

TOSLINK (from Toshiba Link) is a standardized optical fiber connector system, generically known as optical audio. Used to connect components such as audio interfaces, preamps, mixers, video game consoles, and televisions. 

The maximum range of TOSLINK cables is 10 m (33 ft).
