Description

The Yamaha DBR Series represents the most portable powered loudspeakers that Yamaha has to offer. Comprised of 10-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch models, the versatile DBR series utilizes the same state-of-the-art Yamaha DSP, amplifier, and speaker technologies developed for the professional DSR and DXR lineups. Housed in newly designed, highly durable, and lightweight plastic cabinets, these speakers deliver high-resolution sound with remarkable clarity and dynamic characteristics at any output level. They are optimized for a wide variety of applications, including front-of-house (FOH) sound, floor monitoring, and rigged installations.

High-Efficiency 1000W Class-D Amplifiers
The DBR's lightweight, high-performance Class-D amplifier can produce up to 1000W of power (700W for the DBR10 model). This achieves a sound pressure level (SPL) of 132dB, delivered with remarkable clarity and dynamic characteristics.
Custom Designed Transducer
The high power output woofers deliver well-defined, powerful bass with minimal distortion. A 1.4" precision compression driver (1" on the DBR10) produces accurate mid-range and high frequencies.
A Rugged, Highly Portable Cabinet
DBR Series speakers feature a compact, lightweight, and durable plastic cabinet, offering the highest level of portability among Yamaha powered speakers. A sleek steel grille protects the internal components and increases cabinet durability, while newly designed ergonomic handles provide effortless transportation and system setup.
Easy-to-use Onboard 2-Channel Mixer
These speakers feature two input channels. CH1 features a combo jack that accepts both XLR and TRS Phone connectors for Mic or Line-level input signals. CH2 offers two input options: a combo jack (XLR or TRS Phone) and an RCA pin jack for stereo line-level sources like CD players. The onboard mixer allows you to select CH1+2 MIX to combine the signals of both channels, or CH1 THRU to pass only the signal from CH1.
Smart Enclosure Design for Floor Monitoring
The speakers feature an optimized 50° wedge angle specifically for floor monitoring. Additionally, the symmetrical shape of the DBR12 and DBR15 models allows for the effortless configuration of a mirror-mode floor monitoring system in either symmetrical or stereo setups.
Rigging Points for Installation Applications
DBR loudspeakers come equipped with M8 rigging threads. This allows for rigged applications using standardized eye-bolts or optional speaker brackets (which are not included).
