Gear up and get ready to take your performance to the next level with Player II Modified. Featuring key upgrades for the modern guitarist and bassist, these versatile instruments are designed to handle anything you can throw at them.
The Player II Modified Telecaster® SH is a classic guitar with the modern player in mind. Everything about the neck is designed for fast and fluid playability, from the Modern “C”-profile with silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfy 9.5”-radius slab rosewood or 1-piece maple fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body provides classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker is articulate with plenty of output, and the noiseless™ pickup delivers classic Tele® twang and bite while eliminating unwanted noise and feedback. For additional tonal flexibility, the push/pull tone switch splits the neck humbucker and enables classic Tele® neck single-coil tones. The 6-saddle bridge, short post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut and modern string tree all combine to keep tuning incredibly stable for even the most demanding steel-emulating bends or roaring rock leads.
- CASE/GIG BAG: Deluxe Gigbag Included.
MODERN "C" NECK PROFILE WITH 9.5“-RADIUS FINGERBOARD AND ROLLED EDGES
This neck is designed for supremely comfortable performance, with a silky-smooth satin back and our Modern “C”-profile. The 9.5”-radius fingerboard facilitates fluid leads and choke free bends, while the hand-rolled fingerboard edges provide a broken-in feel that’s incredibly inviting.
NEW PLAYER II MODIFIED HUMBUCKER AND NOISELESS™ TELE® PICKUPS
The humbucker is articulate and powerful and splits to deliver true Tele® single coil neck pickup sounds, while the noiseless™ bridge pickup delivers twangy, biting Tele tones. These pickups are perfect for any performance, sound great with gain, and give players an expansive range of tonal options.
UPGRADED ELECTRONICS
A push-pull switch on the tone control splits the humbucker for classic Tele® neck pickup tones. The treble bleed circuit retains natural high-end when rolling off the volume, preserving sparkly cleans and chime-y edge-of-breakup tones.
MODERN TELE® BRIDGE WITH 6 BLOCK BRASS SADDLES
The bridge plate is cut away on the sides to enable total freedom of movement, perfect for hybrid picking, and the 6 block brass saddles provide improved intonation, sustain and rock-solid tuning stability.
SHORT POST LOCKING TUNING MACHINES
Short post locking tuning machines provide a sharper, more consistent break angle over the nut for increased sustain and enhanced tuning stability while making string changes fast and easy.
TUSQ® NUT AND MODERN STRING TREE
The Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut provides unparalleled tuning stability when emulating steel bends or playing roaring rock leads and produces more harmonics in the mid and upper range. The modern string tree provides a smooth travel surface for the strings, preventing hang ups and keeping tuning stable during the most demanding performances.

At Easy Music Center, we care for our instruments from the moment they arrive to when they ship to your door. All instruments are stored in a climate controlled environment and put through a 12-point inspection checklist before being shipped.
First, we check the finish of the instrument, carefully inspecting any blemishes on the surface. Next, we check the playability and setup by inspecting and adjusting the truss rod (if available), bridge, nut, and frets to manufacturer factory specifications. Any request made outside of manufacturer factory specifications can incur additional charges for parts and labor. If the instrument has electronics, we test all of the electronic components to make sure they are functioning properly.
After a thorough inspection, we then move on to maintenance. We start by lubricating any moving parts on the instrument, such as tuning machines. We then move on to cleaning and oiling the fretboard along with the frets.
Once maintenance is done, we stretch and tune the strings and play test the instrument. After this, we do a final inspection and clean/detail the instrument before packing it up for shipment.
We’re excited to be a part of your instrument buying experience.
