Authentic 60s-era Les Paul looks, tone, and feel for every stage
Few guitars can claim the legendary status of the 1958-1960 Gibson Les Paul™ Standards. Acclaimed for their beauty, smooth playability, and exceptional tone, they are among the most cherished vintage guitars on the planet, having been seen in the hands of countless musicians on concert stages worldwide and featured on numerous hit recordings. Now, Epiphone is proud to introduce the updated Les Paul Standard 60s, an Inspired by Gibson tribute to those legendary guitars that lovingly recreates the feel and tone of the era’s Les Paul Standards.
- CASE/GIG BAG: Gig Bag Included.
Epiphone’s long friendship with Mr. Les Paul began in 1940 when Les built one of the world’s first solidbody electric guitars while working nights at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. Les’s first solid body guitar, nicknamed “the Log,” would go on to inspire the Les Paul™ Standard, which many consider the greatest electric guitar ever made. The Les Paul Standard 60s models from the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson™ Collection recreate the look, feel, and sound of the early 1960s-era Les Pauls. They feature a mahogany body with a maple cap. The mahogany neck sports a rosewood fretboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a fast-playing SlimTaper™ 60s C profile. The 60s Kalamazoo headstock is equipped with quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines and a Graph Tech® nut for rock-solid tuning stability, so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The Les Paul Standard 60s is powered by a perfectly balanced set of Epiphone’s acclaimed ProBucker™ pickups, with a ProBucker 2 in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker 3 in the bridge, and each pickup is wired to its own individual set of volume and tone controls that feature high-quality CTS® potentiometers.

At Easy Music Center, we care for our instruments from the moment they arrive to when they ship to your door. All instruments are stored in a climate controlled environment and put through a 12-point inspection checklist before being shipped.
First, we check the finish of the instrument, carefully inspecting any blemishes on the surface. Next, we check the playability and setup by inspecting and adjusting the truss rod (if available), bridge, nut, and frets to manufacturer factory specifications. Any request made outside of manufacturer factory specifications can incur additional charges for parts and labor. If the instrument has electronics, we test all of the electronic components to make sure they are functioning properly.
After a thorough inspection, we then move on to maintenance. We start by lubricating any moving parts on the instrument, such as tuning machines. We then move on to cleaning and oiling the fretboard along with the frets.
Once maintenance is done, we stretch and tune the strings and play test the instrument. After this, we do a final inspection and clean/detail the instrument before packing it up for shipment.
We’re excited to be a part of your instrument buying experience.
