Scherl & Roth student violas are handcrafted with solid spruce tops, maple back and sides, hand-inlaid purfling, and a hybrid lacquer/spirit varnish. Every instrument is hand adjusted in our shop and set-up with Prelude strings, ebony fingerboard and pegs, select French maple bridge, and a composite tailpiece.
