The RG series is Ibanez's core series and always has been well received. Now Ibanez is pleased to introduce a RGMS7 which features the multi-scale.
Using the trapezoidal 27"/25.5" scale, the multi-scale neck construction provides an equalized tension that creates a lively, open tone. Designed for playability, the slants are matched with the player's hand angles to facilitate quick playing along with the flatling on the 12th fret.
By setting the horizontal point close to bridge's side, shredding in high frets is easy. The super-slim, ultra-comfortable 5pc Maple/Walnut Wizard III neck provides solid stability for the increased tension of the extra strings, and the spacious Jatoba fingerboard enhances playing agility and optimizes articulation. Designed for both stability and sustain, the innovative Ibanez Mono-Rail bridge minimizes cross-talk between strings and facilitates flawless intonation.
Ibanez original Array 7 MS pickups perfectly fit the bill not only in size fitted to the slanted mounting angle but also in sound. Proven performers for down-tuning, their highly responsive, super-tight growl is a superb match for this metal machine.

Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.
Array-7 MS pickups
Ibanez Array pickups deliver a super tight tone with low noise that handle down-tuning perfectly.
Multi Scale Neck
The multi-scale neck utilizes an equalized string tension, creating a more "œopen" or "œalive" tone that not only expands harmonic complexity, but also offers a more comfortable playing experience.

At Easy Music Center, we care for our instruments from the moment they arrive to when they ship to your door. All instruments are stored in a climate controlled environment and put through a 12-point inspection checklist before being shipped.
First, we check the finish of the instrument, carefully inspecting any blemishes on the surface. Next, we check the playability and setup by inspecting and adjusting the truss rod (if available), bridge, nut, and frets to manufacturer factory specifications. Any request made outside of manufacturer factory specifications can incur additional charges for parts and labor. If the instrument has electronics, we test all of the electronic components to make sure they are functioning properly.
After a thorough inspection, we then move on to maintenance. We start by lubricating any moving parts on the instrument, such as tuning machines. We then move on to cleaning and oiling the fretboard along with the frets.
Once maintenance is done, we stretch and tune the strings and play test the instrument. After this, we do a final inspection and clean/detail the instrument before packing it up for shipment.
We’re excited to be a part of your instrument buying experience.
