Its exclusive matt gold finish isenhanced by the contrast of a palette of blackson the guards, the in-between medallion, the buffers, and the mother-of-pearl.The motifs of its resolutelyArt Decoengraving evoke theParis of the Roaring Twenties, a euphoric interlude between the wars, which saw the birth of the first SELMER saxophone.
The body and the keywork are varnished inmatt dark gold, an unprecedented finish giving off unique light and reflections.Gold-plated, the in-between body/bell evokes the microphones of the 1920s. Ablack medallion in grenadilla woodbearing the "S" of SELMER, gilded, is inserted in its center.The buffers are in black leather and the wavy-shaped resonators are brushed varnish.For maximum durability, both thumb rests are gold plated.
Each instrument is unique: it bears itslimited edition numberon the socket.
